The Government of the Russian Federation will provide additional support to foreign trade participants importing certain categories of goods – they will be released from the obligation to provide security for the payment of customs taxes and fees. The corresponding Decree of July 12, 2023 No. 1139 is posted on the website of the Government of the Russian Federation.

For the import of products, companies will now be able to provide one declaration instead of two. But it will be possible to take advantage of such a preference if goods are imported into Russia in containers through the Far Eastern sea checkpoints, and then transported first by road and then by rail.

The list of sea crossing points for use by importers includes 11 sea crossing points::

• Vanino
• Vladivostok
• Vostochnyy
• De-Kastri
• Zarubino
• Nakhodka
• Nikolaevsk-on-Amur
• Olga
• Okhotsk
• Posyet
• Sovetskaya Gavan

Also, a list of stations has been defined at which containers must be reloaded from wagons to railway platforms. There are seven of them:

• Artyom-Primorsky-1
• Nakhodka
• Nakhodka-Vostochnaya
• Sovetskaya Gavan-Sortirovochnaya
• Uglovaya
• Ugolnaya
• Ussuriysk

The measure taken will facilitate the work of importers, simplify customs procedures, speed up the delivery of products to destinations, as well as unload seaports in the Far East.
